I love that moment of discovery when I carefully peel back the paper to find the image, not knowing exactly how the colours will have interacted or how much the dyes will have worked into the surface of the paper.
This means that there are slight variations in the prints, even from the same blocks and with the same colours, and is proof of the handmade nature of the work.

Each of these Reduction Linocut prints is unique. The same blocks are used in each series; the lino is cut away in stages and images superimposed in a variety of colourways, often incorporating stencils.
There are further prints available of all the Reduction Linocut series in my studio, in a range of different colours and designs. Do get in touch if you have a particular colour scheme in mind.
In addition, Monoprints, by definition, are all unique.

Tasteful and utilitarian; quirky and commonsensical; it occupies a very visible place in our hallway.’ J.Virgo , Seven Dials
